I've said before that my arch nemesis is human anatomy, and I'll say it again. This time though, I fought with a face (specifically Wil Wheaton's, an American actor). There were times during this piece where it felt like I was slamming myself into a wall over and over again, and I didn't know what else to do. There wasn't really a solution, just more slamming if we're going to be honest. The way I finally got around being iffy on faces was just to push through it. Frankly, it was one of the most frustrating and difficult things I've ever done, and it left me exhausted and mentally drained, but also with a strange sense of satisfaction. Do I think another face sculpt would go better? Maybe after three or four more tries, but I know I've got a long way to go to keep challenging myself.
