Tyrannosaurus Skeleton

As part of a group collaboration, I created skeletal remains of a Tyrannosaurus Rex. The most difficult part was finding good reference images of the various bones, especially considering a complete T-Rex skeleton hasn't actually been put together. I focused my attention on the skull, since that was going to be the most important bones, and getting the shape right was a trial in of itself. It was difficult to capture a silhouette without skin or muscles on it, so it took more time than I'd anticipated to get it recognizable. Then it was a matter of wrestling with UVs and getting them into Substance to paint them so they looked like fossils. The biggest challenge was definitely time management, and it got to a point where I had to take a serious look at a schedule and just crank up the efficiency so that everything got done in time.
