Glowing Mushroom

What I wanted from this piece was to learn how to create an asset in ZBrush and texture it in substance. It was getting the UVs to cooperate and actually importing it into Substance that was the most challenging part. This was a piece of the workflow that I hadn't previously dealt with, and it was my own personal challenge to make it work. Which included making a mushroom, then churning out a high and low poly version of it (I now have a new friend in the form of ZRemesher), then send both of them out to Substance. It was figuring out all the nuances that was the most difficult part for me, and putting myself through this exercise really helped to wrap my head around the process of modeling/texturing and how the two of them intersect. I also learned how to manipulate the emission and transparency channels in substance, which was also invaluable.
